My godchild, four-year-old Olivia, comes
to visit regularly. We always have
a lot of fun playing with colors! As
youngest member of our auxiliary staff, Olivia
kid-proofed our Game
Quilt before it was released. The Game
Quilt hand printed panel, pattern and complete
kit has been a huge hit this year. Don’t

in your life!
Speaking of staff, we’re delighted
to add summer-time help with Patti Petersen,
who designs patterns for us (Joshua’s
Prayer, Seasons
of Life and Family
Ties) and will use her keen color sense
to kit the most sumptuous fabric with our
printed fabric panels in selected patterns
for those of you who just want to “put
your foot down and quilt!” Another
quilter in the house means more fun for all!
Let me highlight our “Glory Kit” as
we enter Fourth of July celebrations. We
are truly blessed to live in this great county. We
keep everyone who stands in harms way to
protect us close in our hearts and constantly
in our prayers. The Glory Quilt features
9 different patriotic prints to make and
bind a super-easy wall quilt for your favorite
service member or veteran!

wall hangings from your pattern and want to tell you that the
directions were excellent and the wall hangings are great. I made both

A few years ago I purchased a "Stress Therapy" kit
and had fun making it and coloring the quilter to look like me. I
took it to our Land of Lincoln Quilters Association annual retreat
in Princeton, Illinois, and hung it on the door to our sewing
room. It has faithfully gone to retreat every year since
as our mascot. The rest of the year it has an honorable
spot in my sewing room. I have also made "He Cooks,
She Sews" and had it hanging in my kitchen. My late
husband did all the cooking at that time and I made it for him. I
have since retired it in his honor. There were others along the
way, but these are my very best favorites! Keep up the
